Alquds Alarabi is an independent daily Arabic newspaper, distributed in the middle east, North Africa, Europe, and America.
Our challenge was to redesign the Alquds website that acts as the digital forefront for them and also shape a new social media strategy to support it.
Since our main concern is users’ needs. We have done a Competitive Evaluation, a Heuristic Review and a Card Sort exercise to feed into our designs.
With the in-depth competitor and market research, we designed Alquds website as a digital news platform that provides the users with the possibility to read news on different devices, anywhere, at any time.
The purpose of news is to report about the past, the present and the future, to convey somebody’s opinion concerning an event, to show this event and to tell everybody about it.
