Working very closely with Alaraby TV allowed us to understand our client’s needs and what fits their audience. Motif got an idea of creating a video animation series about the history of Arabic worlds through time, using The Doha Historical Arabic Dictionary as a reference for our project. Our goal was to work with Alaraby TV on producing and broadcasting this series to share the greatness of our Arabic Language.

The content of the dictionary may seem dry and not inviting for people other than researchers Motif worked tirelessly to create engaging and simple content out of it that can interest all types of people.
In this series, we demonstrate the language changes through a journey of a specific word from before Islam until the present time. We had to pay attention to every detail and stay easy and simple throughout extensive research and creating the perfect animation to reflect the greatness of the language to overcome the Arabic language profoundness.

After finishing the content, Motif team created special music tracks for the series to tie the content and the mood of the series. As the Arabic language was written later than it was used, the narration was critical for the success of our project. We wanted the narration to be inviting yet flawless, so chose to work with the Leader of the Lebanese Artists Union Gehad Alatrash who had a huge passion for it and had the best vocal material for our project.
