Website redesign for the sovereign wealth fund of the State of Qatar
Qatar Investment Authority (QIA) is the sovereign wealth fund of the State of Qatar.
Motif team worked on the redesign of the QIA website with the following objectives:
Reflect the QIA size and importance
Re-position the QIA in the global market and make them stand out from competitors.
The website should attract personas and act as a lead generation platform
We worked closely with the QIA team and had an in-depth look at the target audience groups and user journeys, prioritising the valuable tasks and goals.
With multiple research studies and considering the QIA objectives, we shaped the personas and key user journeys.
To gain a comprehensive understanding of the existing website and the current landscape of wealth fund websites, we conducted an extensive research study, divided into multiple stages.
With the data we got from qualitative and quantitative research with both, stakeholders and users, analising the pain points and keeping usability principles in mind we shaped the information architecture.
After finalising the information architecture we designed the wireframes to define the visual form of the screen presentation and arrangements of all the elements.
The final design offers a clean look and feel, simple navigation, and a new modern representation for the QIA. It’s responsive for any screen size so it’s easy to use on mobile as it is on desktop.
Many of us use our devices throughout the entire day and night. It results in not just dry and painful eyes we get from looking at bright blue screens all day long. Exposure to light also suppresses the secretion of melatonin, a hormone needed for sleep.
To enhance user experience and improve accessibility by supporting users who are sensitive to eye strain we add a Dark mode to the new QIA website.
The final design is a complete refreshment of the QIA digital presence that brings a user & device-friendly interface and sophisticated functionality.
