The Brief

Zool cafe was a sarcastic youtube talk show discussing Sudanese current and viral events. Motif saw great potential in the show and its host, Our team reached out to both Alaraby TV and Zool cafe’s host to collaborate with us to produce Zool cafe on AlarabyTV.

Approach

Shifting from a one-man show to a TV show was a bit challenging, our goal was to highlight the show’s message without losing its focus or style.

As known in our Arabic culture that the traditional cafes are a place to relax after a long workday and chat about current events, that was the vibe the show was going for, to present the place we gather in to discuss all sorts of ideas.

Solution

Keeping the show’s artistic look, Motif’s creative team created a complementing artwork and CG to present the traditional Sudanese cafes. Also, adding African monuments and patterns to enhance the African culture.
